Where we areOur institute is situated 85 km to the north-west of Vienna, near Austria's border to the Czech Republic. The village which you see in the picture is called Hofern. Here you will find our Research Institute (see the red circle). By the way, Hofern belongs to the district of Retz ("Gemeinde Retz") which is one of the most beautiful wine growing areas of Austria (generally white wines, but some astonishing Reds are coming, too).
Who are we?Our team has been carrying out application-oriented research and development in Physics since 1975. In this area, we have a very broad knowledge both of the problems which occur and the types of solutions which are practical. Through our experience and our specialist knowledge, we are in a position to extend tried and tested solutions within a particular field to other, similar questions. We are therefore competent contacts even for unusual questions involving the practical application of physics. We offer individual advice and practical, technical solutions with emphasis on measurement, calculation and development. Our customers benefit from correct and reliable calculations, compehensible reports and procedures which can be re-used by the customer. In computer technology we support our customers with individual solutions, training, Internet support and the creation of databases which can be used on-line.
